The after-party of Megh Roddur's premiere saw the cast in a sunny mood
The premiere of Surajit Dhar’s Megh Roddur, starring Subhashree and newcomer Palash, was a quiet affair. Though the leading lady was conspicuous by her absence, Palash and the supporting cast, comprising Anindya Banerjee, Debleena Dutt, Nandini and Biplab Dasgupta more than made up for it.“It’s a sensitive love story,” said the director, as he introduced the cast and crew. “I hope the audience appreciates this effort,” he said just before everyone took their seats for the screening.
The premiere at a city hall was followed by an after-party at a nearby club. The stars, along with the crew, were seen letting their hair down and catching up with friends there.
